Park Place Concept Plan

Park Place area Oregon City is preparing a land use plan to help guide future growth in the Park Place area. In 2002, the Metropolitan Service District (Metro) amended its urban growth boundary (UGB) to incorporate certain land identified as portions of areas 24, 25 and 26 into the UGB for Oregon City. The project area also includes about 180 acres of land at the edge of the city located along Livesay Road, which was brought into the UGB in the 1980s, but has not been annexed into the city or been planned in detail.

The concept planning process represents an opportunity to plan for the area in a way that meets the needs of current and future residents. The City has hired a consulting team led by SERA Architects to prepare the plan and help facilitate the process. The project team will build on previous planning and neighborhood involvement efforts in the area such as the "Envision Park Place" study. The planning process is expected to be completed in April, 2007.
